NOWADAYS

The Creative Industries students from EKC Broadstairs & Canterbury School of Visual Arts at Canterbury College, for their “Nowadays” Exhibition exhibited as part of the Margate Festival 2020. This was original meant to be part of the Trust’s centenary celebration exhibition but due to COVID-19 this was not possible. Students responded to the theme Margate NOW – Margate as a place in particular, what it means to them, pulling aspects of its rich cultural identity and how a young audience engages with it. Some include feelings of this place and the enormous amount of visual stimulus from this ever changing, exciting and creative environment.
